Tim, I'm waiting for the the night to come when I'll be sitting around a campfire, listening to you sing your songs. Thank you for your kind words. I feel honored to think that my songwriting has inspired you in any way. Let's both keep writing. Love, Carol

Hi! I checked back into this site a couple of months ago, and it could not be found......so, I'm glad you are back up again. I'm the very busy Mom these days, with very active, 11 month old Nick, and a new one on the way in 2 months! We are in the middle of moving right now, to an apt. near downtown, where Dave works. Having the house for two years was nice, but just didn't work out financially once 2 little munchkins were in the picture! The apt. is just temporary. Dave really wants to get out of the city life and out of Texas, altogether. He keeps talking about Alaska, as he lived there for a year, and loved it.....but who knows where we'll really end up. It'll be something north, though, as he loves and thrives in the cold weather. Me, I'm flexible and can adapt to whatever! Will send you pictures of my family, once our server is back up and running properly again.....it's been down for quite a while, although Dave keeps working on it. I see mention of my Mom possibly coming north for a little while this summer, and of a family get-together? That's all news to me, and I'll have to pursue it........doubt I'll make it this year, though, with two little ones and finances tight. I thought she was going up next summer for the rental cabin and family reunion.....my chances of joining in on that are much greater. Hope all is well with all of you. Will try to send some e-mail pictures soon. Love, Ali

Dear Tim, Sorry if this is rather disjointed. I am very dumb at learning this computer stuff, and hardly know the difference between a website and an e-mail address. Usually I just avoid it all, because i find it so frustrating and time-consuming, and I frequently mess it all up so I have to call my expert daughter Beth to tell me how to fix it! We had an absolutely fantastic time in Alaska, both in Anchorage, where we saw the ceremonial start of the famous Iditarod dogsled race, and up in Girdwood at the Alyeska Ski Resort. Besides some really wonderful scenery and skiing, we went flight- seeing, dogsledding, and snowmachining. That's what it's called up there. I'd been on snowmobiles quite a lot in Vermont, but this trip was wild and woolly and really scary. Bumps, brushy trails, steep in- and-out ravines, railroad tracks, half-frozen brooks, and a lot worse. However, they took us up to a huge overhanging glacier that was incredibly beautiful, and after we were back in the van, we agreed that it was a lot of fun. All for now. Thanks for updating me on your website. I think it's great that you have one, and that you were able to keep it up while you finished school. I'll try to visit it once in awhile. Love, Katie T.

Hi! I also left you a message in what i think is the message board. I'm not so good at these things. Just came back from skiing with Mom in Alaska. What a place! I don't know if she is renting a summer house in Vermont this year or not; if so I will likely be up visiting, too. --Leslie

Hey Just a note about the Message board. Accessboards has vanished without a trace. So the old message board is gone. Tim also appears to have vanished as well but not really. My sources tell me he is finishing his final paper for his degree. I think he said it was due 1/2/2002. I bet he is in the final throws of editing. Anyway, there is a new message board up on Boysweekend if your interested. Not much happening over there except Joe and I attempting to stimulate conversation with our boring chatter. Help us please!

Hi O'Rourkes and greetings from the Morgans. All of you guys have been on my mind lately and wonder of wonders didn't I get a phone call from David Prior on Saturday! We did quite a bit of catching up, but I find myself longing to see you all-wives, children, significant others and find out what you are up to. Anyway, just making contact and letting you know that it's past time to get together. My sister Gina lives in Montpelier now and works in Plainfield. I think we have no excuses! Love to you all, With many fond memories - Chris

You call this a "family" web site....what!!!!!!!????? More like a Dead Chicken Guitar Man web site. I guess you must be re-loading the page every few minutes. Buono da, Vinny

This website's a great idea, Tim. I don't see much response from the Jones branches of the family, though. Maybe we're the shy ones. Hopefully that will change soon. I'll try to send some pictures of the baby soon. We bought a digital camera for that very purpose, but I'm embarrased to admit that I don't know how to download them yet. Dave's getting sick of having to do it for me, so I would guess that I'll be learning soon! Andie

Hey, I made it too. Am I missing something or is there only one picture? It must be because you are spending your time doing good productive things like jumping off the roof into mountains of snow. I wish I was. I know nothing about any family reunions or weekends or lake champagnes or any of it. Keep me posted. I might not use the computer all the time but I do still have a telephone. Hey O'Rourkes: Greetings from the Fitzpatricks of the west coast. It's not so bad out here, not half as rainy as it's made out to be (which is still pretty rainy). I like your web site, I'd do one myself but for laziness... By the way, who's the old guy with the guitar? Howard

Hi Tim: Nice to hear from you - as a once upon a time O'Rourke I may check your page from time to time to see what you all are up to. I do see and hear from your sibs from time to time and your parents but you - not for a LONG time - I thought you had probably written me out of the will. Anyway, good luck with the page and I hope you can build a fire under the Middletown reunion idea - I wouldn't miss that! Fran(O'Rourke) Cartmell
